El Cocotero Restaurant is located on the beach, offering delightful seafood and succulent Mexican cuisine. Palenque Snack Bar, located by the pool, also offers a great variety of drinks and snacks. The beachfront Avalon Excalibur Acapulco features a swimming pool, complimentary use of kayaks, and plenty of thatched roof shade palapas are available on the beach. Daytime fun centers around the pool with snorkeling lessons, handicrafts, pool aerobics, darts, dance lessons and fun contests. Independent operators on the beach rent snorkeling gear, small watercraft and motor boats, and can arrange fishing, diving and snorkeling trips. Parasailing, banana boat rides and waterskiing are also available.
